‘So, are you excited?’ As a soon-to-be-fresher, these were words
that I was asked over and over again as I started packing for
my new life as a university student. The answer was yes – I was
excited to make new friends, to start a new course, to learn to
live independently. But I was also pretty nervous. How would I
cook for myself every day? What should I pack? Would it be a
big jump from A Levels to studying for a degree? Talking to my
friends didn’t help, since most of them had the same questions
and more.
